Dos dias 4 a 6 de janeiro de 2019 em João Pessoa aconteceu o VIII Congresso Espírita Paraibano.
No último dia aconteceu uma conversa com Divaldo Pereira Franco, Alberto Almeida e Haroldo Dutra Dias com a mocidade espírita.
Os jovens fizeram perguntas e os 3 responderam.
Divaldo respondeu sobre a sociedade atual e como não ser dominados pelos pensamentos, que na maioria das vezes, são repetitivos. Comentou sobre os benefícios da oração. Falou também sobre o compromisso com o Espiritismo e suas responsabilidades. Sobre a liberdade e o colhemos o que plantamos. Por fim, falou sobre os relacionamentos nos dias atuais.
Já Alberto tirou dúvidas sobre perdão e auto-perdão. Que existem demandas variadas no perdão. Comentou sobre a importância do auto-conhecimento e que os maiores problemas são o remorso e errar sempre no mesmo ponto. Fez um paralelo sobre as viagens que o ser humano faz para fugir de si mesmo, para não se encontrar. Deu o exemplo de Alexandre O Grande que conquistou tudo, menos ele próprio. Finalizando, comentou sobre que no Espiritismo não tem como se distrair porque não tem imagens externas e dos cuidados excessivos com o corpo.
O Haroldo falou sobre o consumismo e do preconceito que algumas pessoas tem do dinheiro e das pessoas ricas. Relembrou a história A Caminho da Luz que Jesus tentou “entrar espiritualmente” na Grécia, na Itália e na Europa e não obteve sucesso. Que algumas pessoas não querem respostas, só querem falar de si mesmas. Disse que o Brasil está exportando fraternidade e espiritualidade para outros países. Comentou que mídias sociais são neutras e que as fazem são as mãos dos indivíduos e que quando as pessoas estão fora das redes sociais elas se sentem angustiadas e vazias. Por fim, disse que mídias sociais são um treinamento para as vidas dos espíritos no mundo espiritual.
