Daí resolvi pegar para ler o terceiro livro da série Umbanda, Muito Prazer! da autora Eliana Pacco. O mesmo chama-se Os Orixás na Umbanda: Para Leigos e foi lançado pela Editora Vozes de Aruanda.

Pretende tornar acessível o entendimento sobre os Orixás na Umbanda, esclarecer de forma simples suas vibrações e qualidades, oferecer conhecimento para interpretação dos nomes dos Guias segundo seus Orixás regentes, e também explicar quem são os Orixás de Frente, Adjuntó, Ancestral e do Pano Branco.
Ao todo são 6 grandes capítulos com vários subtópicos dentro de cada e a autora vai discorrendo sobre as questões dos orixás na Umbanda, sua e diferenciação para o Candomblé.
Sendo assim, o primeiro capítulo é o nome do título do livro e aborda as vibrações dos orixás e quais são os cultuados na Umbanda. Indo para o segundo capítulo, é possível conhecer cada orixá e são Exu, Oxalá, Xangô, Iansã, Oxóssi, Oxum, Ogum, Yemanjá, Omulu/ Obaluaiê, Nanã, Ossaín, Oxumarê, Euá, Logun-Edé, Obá e Tempo – Irokô. Nesta parte, Eliana coloca os orixás que são cultuados na Umbanda que são somente 7, no Candomblé onde o número é um pouco maior e explica os motivos dessa diferença.
Indo para o terceiro capítulo, é discorrido sobre o que é orixá de frente, adjunto, juntô e ancestral e assim o leitor fica sabendo sobre todo indivíduo ter mais de um orixá e o mesmo ajuda na personalidade e no cotidiano da pessoa. Ou seja: Uma pessoa com dois orixás de fogo será um ser mais reativo e impulsivo e quem tem Yemanjá será um pouco mais tranquilo.
Já o 4º capítulo fala sobre os orixás de pano branco e todas as questões de Oxalá e suas variações como Funfun, Oxalufan e Oxaguian. O quinto capítulo aborda sobre os orixás na formação do mundo e, sendo assim, conta como cada orixá surgiu. Por fim, temos como identificar o orixá do guia e sua missão.
Durante toda a narrativa, Eliana vai discorrendo sobre o tema e ainda respondendo perguntas frequentes sobre aquele determinado orixá ou as lendas e preconceitos já muito conhecidas como, por exemplo, as oferendas, sobre o orixá fazer a pessoa andar para trás na vida por não lhe dar nenhum presente, digamos assim e as questões problemáticas.
O texto é de fácil entendimento e a leitura é fluída e envolvente, sendo necessários algumas pausas para maiores entendimentos, principalmente para quem é espírita e não está acostumado com tanta informação desse estilo. Se tiver tempo é possível de ser lido em um único dia.
Os Orixás na Umbanda é ótimo para complemento de algum estudo sobre o tema ou para quem deseja conhecer de forma mais aprofundada, como eu, sobre os orixás e a diferença para o Candomblé. Inclusive, a autora vai um excelente de trabalho de abrir as portas para quem deseja conhecer esse mundo tão vasto e fascinante.
