A série acompanha Eleanor, uma mulher de Nova Jersey que percebe que não vem sendo uma pessoa do bem. Ela decide virar a página e aprender o que realmente significa ser “boa” ou “ruim”, ao mesmo tempo em que tenta consertar os erros do passado. Em sua jornada, ela se depara com Michael, um homem que, após uma série de circunstâncias inesperadas, se torna o guia de Eleanor na caminhada para se tornar alguém melhor.
Aqui temos o famoso conceito de “céu e inferno”. E um deus de verdade, que é falível a erros como qualquer ser humano.
As pessoas que foram boas e queridas morrem e vão para o céu e aqueles que foram ruins ou “muito terrenos” vão para o inferno. Ou não!
E também tem o meio termo, onde a pessoa foi “catalogada” como não sendo nem uma coisa nem outra.
A série é muito engraçada e leve. Quem quiser rir, é uma ótima pedida. E não! Não tem nenhuma passagem religiosa nem doutrinária de nada.
