Partiu hidratar a alma nesse sabadão com o filme espiritualista de hoje: Vozes do Passado, lançado em 2020, com direção de Jake Mahaffy e está disponível na Netflix.

Uma mulher grávida retorna à antiga casa da família de seus avós recém-falecidos para passar um tempo com sua mãe distante. O que começa como uma reunião tênue lentamente se torna aterrorizante.
O mesmo possui Ellie como protagonista e ocorre no presente e no passado. Sendo assim, ela e sua mãe se reencontram na antiga casa da família após o desencarne dos avós.
A partir de então, o telespectador vai acompanhando o desenrolar dos acontecimentos entre pai e filha no passado e no presente, pois nos dias atuais o pai não consegue mais sair da cama e necessita dos cuidados da esposa para absolutamente tudo.
Ao mesmo tempo e enquanto Ellie tenta compreender os fatos, duas meninas sempre aparecerem no local presas deixando claro já terem falecido a bastante tempo.
Com o passar dos dias e do seu grande envolvimento com o passado, Ellie desenvolve sérios problemas na gravidez, na escrita do seu livro, no casamento e na relação com a sua mãe. E sendo assim, as cenas vão mostrando fatos extremamente pesados que aconteceram naquela residência tendo o pai como mentor, usando a filha para os mais diversos fins e o quanto está comprometido espiritualmente.
A obra, na minha opinião, não possui um final fechado porque em alguns momentos deixa a entender que as duas meninas estão presas no lugar, em outros que ele matou a própria filha e ela só acordou agora, realmente voltar a antiga casa despertou diversos gatilhos nela e nos seus familiares ou se ela está em grande processo obsessivo vindo da sua escrita ou do próprio pai.
Não é aquele aprendizado com leveza, mas é bastante reflexivo e envolvente. As partes espirituais acontecem ao longo de toda a narrativa e com algumas situações bem expostas.
