Partiu hidratar a alma nesse sabadão com o filme espiritualista de hoje: Era Uma Vez Um Gênio (3000 Years Of Longing) , lançado em 2022, com direção de George Miller e está disponível na Amazon Prime Video.

Em Era Uma Vez Um Gênio, enquanto participava de uma conferência em Istambul, a Dra. Alithea Binnie (Tilda Swinton) encontra um “djinn” (Idris Elba), o que no ocidente, é comumente denominado como “Gênio”. A criatura lhe oferece três desejos em troca de sua liberdade, e isso apresenta dois problemas: primeiro, ela duvida que ele seja real, e segundo, por ser uma estudiosa de histórias e mitologia, ela conhece todas as histórias de advertência sobre desejos que deram errado. O djinn defende seu caso contando histórias fantásticas de seu passado e, eventualmente, ela é seduzida e faz um desejo que surpreende os dois, o que leva a consequências que nenhum dos dois esperava.
O filme é considerado atual e possui Alithea Binnie como protagonista. A mesma estava participando de uma conferência em Istambul, quando já no quarto, recebe a visita de um chamado dijnn, onde no Ocidente é chamado de gênio e espiritualmente pode ser considerado um mentor / amigo espiritual.
A partir de então, a obra vai intercalando entre Alithea vivendo seu próprio mundo e o amigo espiritual contando suas histórias de vidas passadas tanto quanto encarnado quanto desencarnado.
Em todos os momentos, o mesmo vai dando dicas do que possivelmente possa estar acontecendo com a protagonista tanto na forma prática quanto espiritualmente falando. Sem nenhum conhecimento espiritual e fragilizada emocionalmente, Alithea vai se envolvendo sem perceber. Inclusive, mudando de lugares porque a obra deixa para o entendimento do telespectador essa parte. Uma hora está dentro do quarto de um hotel e no outro já se encontra em casa brigando com as vizinhas.
Na prática e como diz o título do filme, a história é mais sobre como funciona a vida de um mentor e toda sua caminhada até chegar a sua púpila da vez e cabe ao mesmo decidir se permanece auxiliando no mundo espiritual ou se reencarna.
Para quem está por dentro, obras dando maior importância aos amigos espirituais de fato e de direito estão ficando mais comuns, afinal, sem eles os encarnados não iriam para frente e nem fariam absolutamente nada.
Era Uma Vez Um Gênio está longe de ser aquele aprendizado com leveza, mas é bastante reflexiva e acaba se tornando um ótimo estudo tanto na prática quanto na teoria.
