Prairie Johnson é uma garotinha cega que desaparece. Sete anos depois, ela retorna, com a visão perfeita. A jovem (Brit Marling) tenta explicar aos pais o que aconteceu durante a sua ausência. Para a surpresa de todos, ela diz que nunca realmente se foi, mas estava em outro plano da existência… Num lugar invisível.
Na primeira temporada tivemos a história de uma menina chamada Nina. Junto com os seus colegas de escola sofre um acidente automobilístico, eles morrem e ela fica cega. Já adulta volta a enxergar, se torna OA e fica presa junto com outras pessoas por um homem que os “matava todos os dias” para fazer seus experimentos de EQM´s (Experiências de Quase Morte).
Nessa temporada eu tinha convicção que OA / Nina tinha uma mediunidade absurda e que estava sendo usada por um maluco. Tanto ela como as outras pessoas envolvidas.
Já na segunda temporada foi uma salada de frutas que, no começo, entendi vários nadas. Tudo só clareia depois do 5º episódio, sendo que são 8.
Dessa vez temos o início do discernimento de quem é OA e Nina e muitos pontos que ficaram soltos para se ter uma terceira temporada. O maluco dos experimentos volta, agora como psiquiatra e ao longo da narrativa, passamos a compreendê-lo.
Aqui terminei com a sensação que OA obsedia pessoas e pega a “personalidade para ela”. Acaba se tornando várias em uma só, tanto que o ciclo de Nina se fechou e ela já virou outra pessoa.
É uma série espiritualista que depois da 2º “dança de sequências” você já quer fazer junto para ver no que vai dar e psicologicamente ver se ajuda os personagens queridos.
Além disso, o pano de fundo retrata uma mediunidade forte da maioria dos envolvidos e uma obsessão excessiva velada que, ao longo dos capítulos, vai se descortinando.
Eu adorei a 1ª temporada, já a segunda fiquei meio “nhe”. Vamos ver se realmente sai a terceira e quando será lançada (talvez em 2030? :P)
