Depois da palestra que assisti da Irvênia Prada (Post aqui), fiquei bastante curiosa e resolvi me jogar no seu livro chamado A Alma dos Animais. O mesmo está disponível no Kindle Unlimited e é a versão mais atualizada.
Partiu conferir todos os detalhes na resenha.

Qual a verdadeira natureza dos animais? Como se dá sua evolução espiritual e sua “entrada” no estágio humano?A manifestação da vida, evidências de que os animais têm mente e o papel do cérebro são questões amplamente discutidas, convergindo os pensamentos científico e espírita. Por fim, emoção e razão dos animais, em casos pitorescos, atestam que são seres inteligentes e sensíveis, razão suficiente para que possamos encará-los com outro olhar, modulado por respeito e amor!
Ao todo são 7 capítulos, onde a autora vai passeando pelas questões sobre o assunto. O primeiro capítulo é uma retrospectiva histórica do que são os animais e como eles são vistos pelos seres humanos.
Já o segundo capitulo é sobre o processo evolutivo do ser espiritual a luz do que foi dito por autores nas obras O Livro dos Espíritos, A Gênese, No Mundo Maior, Evolução em Dois Mundos, O Problema do Ser, do Destino e da Dor, Gênese da Alma, Evolução Anímica e A Caminho do Luz.
Depois comenta sobre o mistério da vida (anima) e sua relação com o animus (mente, psique, mente e espírito). Aqui temos uma abordagem mais psicológica, filósofa e técnica sobre as questões discutidas no livro. O quarto capítulo é sobre os animais terem mente, ou seja, se pensam como os seres humanos.
O quinto capítulo é sobre o papel do cérebro e do sistema nervoso como um todo. O sexto vem com uma abordagem mais médica e fala sobre os transdutores cerebrais. Por fim, o sétimo capítulo comenta sobre a emoção e razão como parceiras no comportamento dos animais.
Durante toda a narrativa, a referência bibliográfica vai intercalando com obras espíritas com obras técnicas dos mais variados temas.
O texto é de entendimento médio e a leitura é densa, porém, fluída. Não é para todo mundo. É ótimo para quem gosta de um assunto cabeça, que faz pensar e sem nenhuma conclusão final. Para quem quer algo mais direto, o melhor é assistir as palestras da mesma.
A questão dos animais ainda é um tema vasto e totalmente aberto dentro da Doutrina Espírita e isso reflete na abordagem do livro também.
