É possível médicos, mesmo depois de mortos, continuarem a praticar a Medicina? Curarem graves doenças, muitas vezes consideradas incuráveis? Operarem sem anestesia? Fazerem incisões cirúrgicas sem sangramento? Estes e outros questionamentos estão respondidos neste livro.
O mesmo é um estudo com um pouco de autobiografia que é importante para o entendimento do contexto, está na sua segunda edição e aborda sobre as questões espirituais, ainda, pouco comentadas dentro da medicina.
Ao todo, a obra possui 27 capítulos com vários subtópicos dentro, além das referências bibliográficas no final.
Sendo assim, o primeiro capítulo comenta sobre o início de tudo, onde é comentado um pouco sobre as questões das materializações dos espíritos e outro tanto da faculdade de Medicina de uma forma geral e a ligação, estreita, entre os dois.
Depois segue com as primeiras experiências, estranhos fenômenos e subindo a montanha. Após, entra em uma parte mais específica, onde é abordado sobre as situações espirituais dentro dos hospitais e em cirurgias e segue comentando sobre uma sessão de materializações, o câncer como doença cármica e pela ótica espiritual também, aprendizado contínuo, em busca de explicações, quem foi Frederick Von Stein, efeitos físicos em profusão e a lição do preto velho.
A partir do capítulo 12, o autor vai discorrendo sobre a prática real oficial, já sendo médico com conhecimentos espirituais e onde é comentado sobre os médiuns no CTI, o drama das doenças psíquicas I e II, eutanásia e aborto, cirurgias hiperfísicas, elucidações transcendentais, medicina forense e mediunidade. Segue com tópicos mais científicos como o ectoplasma e as materilizações, bioluminescência e Luz Astral, terapia, luzes na escuridão, terapias com células tronco, o espírito, a ciência e o futuro, a medicina mediúnica do futuro e carta aos médicos.
Durante a narrativa, Paulo vai comentando sobre os temas a luz dos seus conhecimentos espirituais e vivências. E os temas vão em uma crescente, ou seja, com o mesmo contando sua vida quando jovem, chegando na medicina e como um é importante para o outro e vice-versa. Inclusive, nesta questão, ele soube muito bem dar importância para determinado item já dando um gancho para o outro item e assim foi até o fim.
As partes que mais gostei foi quando abordaram a prática dos médicos e o auxílio irrestrito dos amigos espirituais, principalmente no capítulo Médiuns na CTI, onde foram comentados casos reais acontecidos nesses locais. Além disso, também possuem as cirurgias também bastante comentados no livro, porém, quem ouve as palestras do Paulo já tem um vasto conhecimento sobre esse lado.
O texto é de médio entendimento e a leitura é densa e não é para todo mundo. É uma ótima opção para quem é médico, esteja ou vai fazer medicina, independente se seja muito espiritual ou não, para quem já se encontra inserido na Doutrina Espírita e queira estudar e entender um assunto ainda pouco comentado e até considerado tabu ou complemento sobre algum estudo sobre mediunidade e seus mais variados fins. Inclusive, durante a narrativa, é colocado um vasto material bibliográfico para o leitor pesquisar antes, durante e, principalmente, depois.
Para quem já acompanha o Paulo, o livro complementa a palestra e vice-versa, inclusive na sua densidade de assuntos e vasto material histórico tanto espiritual quanto material e profissional.
A diagramação é bem padrão e, creio ter sido a primeira vez que li um texto no Kindle totalmente diagramado em PDF e colocado assim mesmo. Achei interessante e curioso igualmente.
