Hoje a indicação de filme espírita é O Filme dos Espíritos, lançado em 2011 e com participações de Ana Rosa e Nelson Xavier.
Bruno Alves (Reinaldo Rodrigues) tem cerca de 40 anos e após a morte de sua esposa e mais a perda do trabalho, a depressão veio com força e o suicídio parecia ser o melhor caminho. Mas ao receber de um desconhecido “O Livro dos Espíritos”, obra basilar da doutrina espírita, ele começa uma jornada em busca de sua felicidade a partir da compreensão dos mistérios da vida espiritual.
O protagonista Bruno Alves é professor e perde sua mulher para o câncer. Se torna alcoólatra, fica desempregado e se vê em uma rua sem saída.
Bruno é ajudado pelo psiquiatra Levy, que faz um trabalho belíssimo com deficientes mentais, e o mesmo lhe apresenta O Livro dos Espíritos de Allan Kardec.
A partir de então o moço começa a compreender as questões da vida, principalmente em relação ao aborto cometido pela sua mulher quando ainda eram jovens
Acompanhamos as consequências dos fatos das vidas passadas que desaguam na vida atual e Bruno acaba se entregando de vez ao Espiritismo e o trabalho junto com os amigos tão necessitados de ajuda.
Durante a narrativa, surgem histórias paralelas e que se interligam ao protagonista.
O fato mais curioso é do rapaz que é médium, consegue ver os espíritos e trabalha em uma funerária.
O filme é bem simples e mostra na prática o despertar de uma pessoa para a vida e a Doutrina Espírita.
No começo é possível que se fique perdido entre a história principal e as paralelas, mais flui depois que você começa a entender o contexto. 🙂
