Haroldo lembra que a história começou no Judaísmo, passou pelo Cristianismo e, então, foram deturpadas para a celebração atual da Páscoa com coelhinhos e ovinhos e que não guarda mais relação com a tradição genuína.
Dias comenta que a Páscoa é uma celebração judaica e começou no momento em que o povo foi libertado da escravidão do Egito.
Diz que a Páscoa é como lidamos com símbolos e metáforas e como se experimenta Deus e a vida.
Então, segundo Haroldo, a religiosidade opta pela linguagem metáforica, onírica, de sonhos.
Já no Cristianismo, a Páscoa é o pulo do anjo, onde visitava aquelas famílias que foram poupadas de perder o seu filho mais velho.
Dias relembra as histórias da relação do cordeiro e da perda de alguém amado e da forma como Jesus, nos seus 3 anos de Páscoa”, teve várias experiências com os seus discípulos.
Haroldo diz que Jesus veio para libertar o homem da escravidão da matéria e a celebração da Páscoa é a lembrança do amor e da imortalidade da alma.
Por fim, diz sobre como os séculos passaram e transformaram a Páscoa em coelhos e ovos de chocolate, apagando a experiência religiosa que a data propõe.
Que explicação maravilhosa! Fiquei até com medo de resumir e deturpar, involuntariamente, algo que Haroldo tenha esclarecido. A história é bem simples assim e ele não enrolou em momento algum. Claro e objetivo.
Para finalizar o post: Eu passei anos estudando em educação adventista (pois é!) e sempre quando estava chegando a Páscoa, tínhamos que cantar um hino lindíssimo (o que eu mais gostava, aliás) e muito explicativo. Anos se passaram e sempre quando chega a data, a música aparece na minha cabeça:
