Partiu hidratar a alma nesse sabadão com o documentário espírita Espiritismo: De Kardec Aos Dias de Hoje, lançado em 1995 em comemoração ao bicentenário de nascimento do codificador da Doutrina Espírita e teve direção de Marcelo Taranto.

Dirigido pelo cineasta Marcelo Taranto e interpretado pelo ator Ednei Giovenazzi e com narração da atriz Aracy Balabanian, esse é o primeiro DVD do mundo baseado nas obras de Allan Kardec. Contém legendas em 8 idiomas: Português, Francês, Espanhol, Inglês, Italiano, Alemão, Sueco e Esperanto. O documentário traz uma visão geral sobre os preceitos básicos da Doutrina Espírita e sua contribuição para o progresso e a felicidade do ser humano. Abrangendo desde as obras que compõem a Codificação do Espiritismo por Allan Kardec, ao Movimento Espírita da atualidade, apresenta um resumo do que é a Doutrina Espírita, sua parte histórica, seus princípios e influência social.
O documentário começa falando sobre a 3º revelação e do surgimento do Espiritismo através de Allan Kardec. Comenta também sobre as mesas girantes, as irmãs FOX e todas as questões espirituais e tão polêmicas naquela época. Para quem já viu, lembra bastante o filme recém lançado, e que está na Netflix, sobre a vida do codificador (Post aqui).
Aos poucos a narrativa vai crescendo e sempre fazendo um paralelo entre a evolução como um todo e a Doutrina.
Depois discorre sobre os dons mediúnicos, como acontece a mediunidade nos Centros hoje em dia, sobre as pessoas ainda verem somente o Espiritismo como “comunicador de mortos” e ela é muito mais que isso, lembrando sempre as questões da reforma íntima e valores morais.
Rapidamente fala sobre as mediunidades mais comuns na Doutrina como a psicografia e a psicofonia e lembra também sobre o Espiritismo não ter nenhum amuleto nem tradição como outras religiões e mostra as diferenciações entre o “Kardecismo” e outros credos.
Por fim, comenta sobre as problemáticas de outras regiões do mundo onde muitos vivem suas provas e expiações, ou como chamado no documentário, injustiças sociais.
Em meio a narrativa de Aracy Balabanian, Edney Giovenazzi aparece caracterizado como Allan Kardec dando explicações sobre o que está se falando à luz da Doutrina Espírita e citando passagens das obras básicas como O Livro dos Espíritos.
Eu adorei o documentário e me chocou o quão atual ele ainda é. Levei um susto quando vi ter sido lançado em 1995. O “filme” é envolvente, explicativo e ao mesmo tempo prático. Quando você viu, terminou.
