Depois de muito enrolar, finalmente resolvi me jogar no romance espírita O Mistério da Casa Abandonada do autor Marconi Leal e publicado pela Editora O Clarim.

Narra a história de três jovens e um velho sobrado abandonado. Seria verdade o que se dizia do lugar? O que parecia uma brincadeira os leva a questionar a realidade em busca de respostas que só encontrarão no contato com as verdades do mundo espiritual. Oferece a possibilidade de entendimento dos fenômenos de efeitos físicos e outros tipos de mediunidade, como vidência e psicografia.
O mesmo mistura passado e presente tem o trio Rodrigo, Laura e Miltinho como protagonistas.
Os três resolvem se aventurar e entrar em uma mansão abandonada na cidade e muito conhecida por ter muitos fantasmas, tanto que há anos não é habitada.
Sendo assim, o trio entra no local e fatos estranhos começam a acontecer. Muitos ventos, vozes, sussurros, bater de portas e janelas e móveis sendo arrastados. Com isso, Laura desmaia e os dois meninos tentam ajudá-la a acordar e, consequentemente, a sair de lá. Já na rua, os mesmos percebem que suas blusas foram marcadas com a frase “socorro” e nenhum deles teve a acesso a alguma caneta lá dentro.
Com isso e muito assustados, o trio busca auxílio no tio de Miltinho chamado Jorge que é um profundo conhecer da Doutrina Espírita.
A partir de então, vamos acompanhando o desenrolar dos fatos, os esclarecimentos sobre espíritos e mediunidade e todo o auxílio prestado a Jorge tanto ao trio quanto a mansão em si. Com o passar do tempo, é descoberto a forte mediunidade de Laura e de Rodrigo e os dois acabam sendo importante para desvendar os mistérios daquele local.
Além da psicografia, Laura começa a ter sonhos intuitivos e também se encontra em desdobramento durante o sono com um dos moradores da mansão. O menino lhe dá algumas dicas e de como proceder. Já Rodrigo ajuda demais quando acaba sendo fortemente obsessiado por outro morador do local.
Com todas essas informações, tio Jorge e outros integrantes da Casa Espírita frequentado por ele, montam uma força tarefa para libertação daqueles espíritos tão sofredores e necessitados urgentemente de auxílio. O leitor fica sabendo as identidades dos mesmos e a estreita ligação com os três envolvimentos na história.
A obra também fala sobre perdão, desapego, o quanto alguns espíritos evoluem e outros ficam estagnados por séculos e a importância do autoconhecimento espiritual.
O texto é de fácil entendimento e a leitura é mega fluída e envolvente. É cada plot twist de se ficar zonza e encantada ao mesmo tempo. Tiveram algumas partes exageradas? Sim, mas foram tremendamente compensadas pela história em si e seu fechamento incrível. Você termina a obra querendo conhecer um pouco mais do autor.
