Ao apresentarmos o nosso livro aos interessados na decifração de si mesmos, tentamos colocar pontes entre os mecanismos das Psicologias Humanista e Transpessoal com a Doutrina Espírita, que as ilumina e completa, assim cooperando de alguma forma com aqueles que se empenham na busca interior, no autodescobrimento. Não nos facultamos a ilusão de considerar o nosso trabalho mais do que um simples ensaio sobre o assunto, com um elenco amplo de temas coligidos no pensamento dos eméritos estudiosos da alma e com a nossa contribuição pessoal.
O mesmo é uma obra de estudos e, ao todo, possui 12 capítulos com vários subtópicos dentro, além do autodescobrimento: uma busca interior. Sendo assim, inicia com o ser real, onde é abordado sobre a complexidade das energias, interação espíritos e matérias e problemas da evolução.
Depois segue para equipamentos existenciais com o pensamento, conflitos e doenças, distonias e suas consequências e o ser emocional, consciência e vida com consciência responsável e exame do sofrimento, viagem interior com busca da unidade, realidade e ilusão e força criadora, o ser subconsciente com computação cerebral, reciclagem do subconsciente e subconsciente e sonhos, viciações mentais com insatisfação, indiferença, pânico e medo da morte, conteúdos perturbadores como o ressentimento, lamentação, perda pela morte e amargura e o triunfo sobre o ego com a infância psicológica, conquista do si e libertação pesssoal.
Durante toda a narrativa, a dupla espiritual vai passando por todas as questões mais importantes para se chegar a um autodescobrimento tanto com os pontos positivos quanto e, principalmente, os negativos. Além disso, exemplos práticos e do cotidiano vão sendo colocados para melhor compreensão do que está sendo colocado. E isso vale tanto para a vida adulta quanto na infância.
Os trechos e partes que mais gostei foram: O capítulo Viagem Interior e sua tremenda necessidade de fazer uma viagem interior e somente consigo mesmo para melhor entendimento daquilo que é real ou ilusão e o que é meu ou estou pegando do outro. E também o capítulo Sicários da Alma que aborda o passado, o futuro e a importância do autoperdão com situações que não se podem mais ser alteradas porque já aconteceram e a necessidade do autoaconhecimento já pensando no futuro.
O texto é de fácil entendimento e a leitura é densa com pausas sendo necessárias para melhor compreensão e entendimento. Os capítulos como um todo são curtos com, no máximo, 5 páginas cada.
A obra é ótima como complemento de algum estudo ou livro principal para grupo de estudos em alguma área relacionado as questões humanas. E claro para quem busca se conhecer como um todo tanto no modo psicológico quanto emocional e espiritual e também para quem deseja saber como é a parceria Divaldo e Joanna porque, neste, a linguagem é bem tranquila e acessível.
