Em Undone, Alma Winograd-Diaz (Rosa Salazar) leva uma vida monótona e desistimulante, vivendo todos os dias a mesma rotina. Mas após sobreviver a um acidente de carro quase fatal, ela descobre que desenvolveu um novo relacionamento com o tempo. Ela, então, decide usar essa nova habilidade para desvendar a verdade sobre a morte do próprio pai, Jacob Winograd (Bob Odenkirk). Quando acorda no hospital, ela encontra o pai morto ao seu lado e ele lhe explica que o acidente alterou completamente sua percepção do mundo e que espaço e tempo são conceitos mais complexos do que ela poderia imaginar. Jacob revela que sua morte não foi um acidente, mas sim assassinato e, agora, Alma precisa usar suas novas habilidades para investigar o crime e descobrir quem é o culpa por trás da morte do pai. Mas essa nova relação com o tempo complica sua vida e Alma começa a se sentir desestabilizada. Aos poucos, ela precisará aprender a controlar esses poderes para poder viajar com segurança pelo tempo e espaço.
O mesmo é mostrado em formato de animação e possui Alma como protagonista.
Um dia ela sofre um acidente de carro, fica em coma e, a partir de então, o telespectador passa a acompanhar o desenrolar dos acontecimentos desde o começo.
Sendo assim e ainda meio confusa, Alma recebe o auxílio irrestrito do pai já desencarnado, do seu mentor e de outros amigos espirituais, principalmente na compreensão da mesma com os fatos.
Além disso e aproveitando da situação, a Espiritualidade também começa a mostrar fatos que precisam ser transmutados e ainda quando o seu pai estava vivo e então inicia a segunda temporada.
Com isso, temos uma Alma um tanto perdida entre essa existência e a anterior, entre já ter tido um filho e ainda não e tentando se situar na situação em contínuo amparo dos amigos espirituais e dos seus familiares.
Nas entrelinhas, Undone também fala muito sobre luto porque a mesma, até então, ainda não tinha superado a morte do seu pai e o maior amparo que ela recebe quando internada é dele. Ou seja: Deixando bem claro que a morte não existe e sempre vai existir uma ligação parental tanto daqui para lá quanto de lá para aqui.
Os episódios duram, no máximo, 30 minutos e em menos de uma semana, se você tiver tempo, consegue terminar a série refletindo como se não houvesse amanhã e querendo colocar Alma em um potinho. É um bom aprendizado com leveza, mesmo abordando temas polêmicos, importantes e que vai do fim para o começo literalmente.
