Conheça a história de Emily, uma menina que se vê sozinha no mundo após o assassinato dos pais sendo enviada ao orfanato onde enfrenta as dores da solidão e do abandono. Com a chegada de Dylan, encontra novamente raios de esperança, ainda que ambos tenham de enfrentar ajustes de vidas passadas, numa trajetória de muito sofrimento, superação e resiliência, sempre amparados por seus Anjos da Guarda, que carregam segredos e fatos ocultos de outras existências, e através de preciosas intuições, os ajudarão a encontrar a felicidade em seus caminhos…
A obra é um romance espiritualista atual e tem Emily como protagonista. A mesma morava em uma favela, tinha pais totalmente relapsos, era cuidada por Dona Nena, uma senhora umbandista muito boa e tinha Davi como seu anjo da guarda.
Um dia, os pais são mortos e ela é encaminhada para um orfanato. Por lá, conhece e se identifica muito com Dylan, que foi um menino pobre e tinha Gael como seu anjo da guarda.
O relacionamento de ambos era ótimo e evoluía a cada dia, mesmo os dois sendo duas crianças. No aniversário de 13 anos de Dylan, Emily, inesperadamente para a idade, é adotada por Joyce que já tinha dois filhos, recém tinha perdido o terceiro e resolveu se aventurar na adoção.
A partir de então, o leitor acompanha a nova vida da Ursinha de Dylan e tudo estava indo bem até Joyce contrair um câncer e desencarnar em poucos meses. Sendo assim, a vida de Emily muda totalmente novamente. A moça começa a ser abusada sexualmente pelo irmão mais velho e o pai, sempre bêbado, fazendo vistas grossas. Depois de tantas vezes, a moça engravida e o aborto é feito de forma caseira e totalmente desastrosa.
Após mais um fato lamentável, Emily decide ir embora, começa sua vida na prostituição, também inicia sua faculdade de Enfermagem e se casa com um antigo traficante do local onde morava na infância.
Já Dylan também passa por muitos perrengues após a saída de Emily do orfanato. O mesmo foge do local achando que iria encontrar a menina e acaba trabalhando para uma gang. Passa anos assim até ser resgatado por Padre Fabian. Após os estudos, o rapaz torna-se policial militar e o grande feito da sua carreira é prender justamente o ex marido de Emily.
Com isso, passamos a acompanhar o reencontro do casal e todos os desafios e superações de más tendências. Além disso, o livro também aborda o estupro, a questão de fazer ou não o aborto, a adoção em diversos meios e os motivos das vidas de ambos serem tão conturbadas com fatos de vidas passadas.
As partes espirituais, em todos os momentos, ficam a cargo dos anjos de guarda ou mentores Davi e Gael. São os dois, tanto juntos quanto individualmente, estão sempre auxiliando e inspirando o casal.
O livro é polêmico por algumas questões, mas ao mesmo tempo é ótimo demais. Me surpreendi horrores. O texto é de fácil entendimento e a leitura é mega fluída e envolvente, mesmo nas partes mais densas e pesadas.
E poxa, Marcelo! Isso não se faz. Uma obra tão boa quanto essa se tirada dessa forma assim da Amazon. Tsc, Tsc!
